Dog Daycare Specialist

Job Description

Waggs N' Whiskers Dog Daycare & Training seeks hardworking and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Specialists to provide excellent customer service and animal care to our daycare visitors! The position consists of the care and monitoring of our guests. Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, team driven environment. Part-time positions are also available!

Primary Responsibilities • Monitoring dogs at play • Maintaining a safe, fun, and learning environment• Meal prep and feeding dogs • Cleaning all areas of the facility as needed.

Essential Skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment • Must be active and attentive at all times • High attention to detail • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements • MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!  1- 2 years working with dogs preferred, but not required. Should be capable of lifting dog food, and supplies. Have intermediate knowledge of dog language, or desire to learn.  Ability to constantly walk and/or stand up during the entire shift.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule - Daycare is open 5 days a week, M-F 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Job Type: Full - Time @ 32-40 hours a week & Part-time 20-30 hours a week.
